(August 3rd) Former world title challenger Henry "Hammerin' Hank" Lundy is embarking on the next chapter of his distinguished combat sports career after signing a multi-fight agreement with BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, one of the fastest-growing organizations in professional bare-knuckle fighting. Lundy's debut inside BKB's patented triangular "Trigon" ring will be announced in the coming weeks, with his opponent and event date still to be determined.

A respected veteran of nearly two decades in professional boxing, the Philadelphia native brings an impressive 32-14-1 professional record with 14 knockouts into the bare-knuckle ranks. Since making his professional debut on July 7, 2006, Lundy has earned a reputation as one of boxing's toughest road warriors, consistently accepting high-risk fights against elite competition in their hometowns rather than waiting for favorable opportunities.

Lundy reached the pinnacle of the sport in February 2016 when he challenged undefeated pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford for the WBO Junior Welterweight World Championship at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Although Crawford retained his title, Lundy's willingness to face the very best became the defining characteristic of a career built on fearlessness and determination. Throughout his career he also captured regional championships including the WBO NABO Lightweight, NABF Lightweight, WBC Silver Lightweight and WBC Silver Super Lightweight titles, while later claiming the vacant UBF Lightweight Championship.

Before entering the professional ranks, Lundy compiled an outstanding 65-5 amateur record, highlighted by a Pennsylvania Golden Gloves championship, a National Golden Gloves silver medal, Outstanding Boxer honors at a USA Boxing Middle Atlantic Association tournament, and multiple regional titles. His decorated amateur career established him as one of Pennsylvania's premier boxing talents before he successfully transitioned to the professional level.

Standing 5-foot-7 with a 68-inch reach, Lundy spent much of his professional career testing himself against world-class opposition. His résumé includes memorable bouts against Crawford, Viktor Postol, Thomas Dulorme, Mauricio Herrera, Ray Beltran, John Molina Jr., Richar Abril and former world champion David Diaz, among others. His willingness to challenge the sport's elite regardless of venue earned him respect throughout the boxing community as one of the sport's consummate professionals.

After briefly announcing his retirement in 2023 following a loss to Kurt Scoby, Lundy returned to competition and ultimately decided his fighting career was far from over. Now, at 42 years old, he is embracing a new challenge by bringing his aggressive, pressure-fighting style to bare-knuckle boxing.
