(June 9th) DAZN, the global home of boxing, has today confirmed a deal with UK boxing promoter BOXXER, which will see the promotion deliver major fight nights on the platform in the coming months, including a premium Pay–Per–View event scheduled for later this year.

The first event will be the highly anticipated rematch between Troy Williamson and Callum Simpson on Saturday, August 8 at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds. The bout follows their first meeting in December which saw Troy Williamson flooring Simpson four times in the tenth round before forcing a stoppage to secure a TKO victory, winning the British, Commonwealth and European super–middleweight titles in the process.
