One of the most dominant forces in Bare Knuckle  Boxing today, Trujillo has quickly established himself as must-see entertainment with his devastating power and relentless pursuit of victory. Every one of his eight BKB appearances has ended in spectacular first-round fashion, making the Cuban powerhouse one of the  sport's fastest-rising stars and one of its most feared champions.

Despite his perfect record, Trujillo, who is also undefeated in professional  boxing (12-0, 11 KOs) and is ranked WBO #13, remains focused on the task ahead and refuses to overlook his next opponent. The reigning champion believes every title defense presents a new challenge and another opportunity to prove himself.

"I have a lot of respect for Mark O'Neil because he is a well-respected fighter in BKB and a true warrior," said Trujillo. In the main event, undefeated BKB Heavyweight World Champion Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo (8-0, 8 KOs) puts his perfect record of first-round knockouts on the line against Mark “The Veteran O’Neil (3-4).

Hailing from Cuba and fighting out of Miami, the 32-year old, Trujillo enters the event riding unprecedented momentum. In his most recent outing at BKB 48: Night of Four Kings, he defended his BKB Heavyweight World Title with a devastating 63-second first-round knockout of former WBA Regular Heavyweight Champion Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne. The victory extended Trujillo’s streak to eight consecutive first-round finishes, including notable stoppages of Lorenzo Hunt, Ike Villanueva, and Richie Leak.

Standing opposite Trujillo is the towering 6’5” English heavyweight and fan-favorite slugger O’Neil, who brings dangerous power, relentless pressure, and a warrior’s mentality into the Trigon. At 49 years old, “The Veteran” is determined to be the first man to survive Trujillo’s opening-round onslaught and prove that age is no limit in bare knuckle boxing.

In the co-main event, Olympic gold medalist and former two-division world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (0-0) ​ makes his highly anticipated bare knuckle debut against crafty veteran Yesner “Cuajadita” Talavera (0-0), who’s also set to make his BKB debut.

Known as “El Ciclon de Guantanamo”, Gamboa brings elite boxing pedigree and global star power to BKB. The 2004 Olympic flyweight gold medalist for Cuba turned professional in 2007 and compiled a stellar 30-5 (18 KOs) record. Gamboa also captured the WBA Featherweight World Championship (2009-2011) and unified it with the IBF Featherweight World Championship, (2010-2011), becoming the first Cuban fighter in history to win an IBF world championship. He also held WBA interim titles at super featherweight and lightweight while challenging pound-for-pound greats including Terence Crawford, Devin Haney, Gervonta Davis, and Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz.

Terence Crawford has repeatedly called Gamboa one of the toughest opponents of his career, stating that Gamboa landed “the hardest punch” he ever took and describing their fight as one of the most difficult in his legendary run.

A 31-year-old southpaw from Nicaragua, Talavera on the other hand is a battle-tested, well-traveled, and very tough opponent with professional experience across three continents. His technical skill, mobility, and durability promise to provide a stern first test for Gamboa inside the BKB bare knuckle trigon.
