(September 3rd) BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, the world’s largest professional bare knuckle boxing organization, has announced the complete fight card for BKB 60, which takes place at the Utilita Arena Newcastle on Saturday, October 10.

This historic fight card will mark BKB’s first ever event in Newcastle, and will bring together two of the sport’s most exciting fighters in a must-see title fight, as BKB Super Welterweight World Champion Rolando “Dy Incredible” Dy gets set to defend his title against five-time BKB champion Scott “The Mute” McHugh in the main event.

The Dy-McHugh world title showdown replaces the previously announced heavyweight main event between hometown favorite Mick Terrill and Kamil Sokolowski.

David Tetreault, CEO of BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, said: "We originally announced Newcastle with Mick Terrill headlining in his hometown, and there is no version of this card we wanted more. Last week, on less than three days' notice, Mick stepped in against heavyweight champion Gustavo Trujillo while he was already traveling to Miami to promote BKB 60. That is who he is. He came out of that fight with a cut that will not be healed in time for October, so we look forward to welcoming him back as a special guest, helping us host the fans in Newcastle and taking it in the Trigon side. Rolando Dy vs. Scott McHugh is exactly the kind of fight we want at the top of the bill for our first-ever event in Newcastle. Dy has been on an incredible run in BKB, while McHugh is a proven champion who has been in some of the toughest fights in the history of the sport. When you put these two together, you have the makings of a tremendous main event, and we expect both fighters to bring everything they have when they step into the Trigon on October 10. Newcastle is in for a special night."

A second-generation boxing champion, Dy (6-1, 5 KOs) is the son of former WBC world champion Rolando Navarrete, and has himself taken the bare knuckle boxing world by storm by becoming the first Filipino to capture BKB gold. The current reigning BKB Super Welterweight World Champion, Dy has won six of his first seven pro bare knuckle bouts, including wins over Liam Rees and Paulie Malignaggi.

Looking to take the title is McHugh (17-5, 7 KOs) a five-time BKB champion and Bare Knuckle Hall of Fame inductee. The Leeds native is currently riding a five fight winning streak, with three of those wins coming by KOs. The 22-fight veteran will look to add another world championship to his already-impressive list of accolades, and he’ll try to do it in front of a home crowd.

In the co-main event, two of BKB’s top-ranked super middleweights go head-to-head once more, as Scotland’s David Winiarski (7-1, 7 KOs) takes on Wales’ undefeated Keiron Harding (3-0, 3 KOs) in a highly-anticipated rematch of their Fight of The Night encounter back at BKB 49.

Also on the card, former IBF world champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. (1-0, 1 KO) returns to the Trigon following his successful BKB debut at BKB 56 in Los Angeles, while undefeated super welterweight Adel Altamimi (3-0, 3 KOs) looks to continue his streak of knockout victories.
