(August 28th) Premier Boxing Champions will bring a championship-caliber tripleheader to The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, October 17, as WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora, WBA Featherweight World Champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa and undefeated former two-division world champion Jermall Charlo headline the latest installment of PBC’s monthly live series, “The Fight.”

The main card is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will be available live in the United States on DAZN and TNT, according to PBC’s official event listing.

Fundora (24-1-1, 16 KOs) will headline the evening by making the fourth defense of his WBC super welterweight championship against unbeaten mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj (23-0-1, 8 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round showdown. The 28-year-old southpaw from Coachella, California, has established himself as one of boxing’s most distinctive champions thanks to his extraordinary height, reach and relentless offensive style. Fundora won the WBC and WBO 154-pound championships with his victory over Tim Tszyu in 2024 and has since continued to strengthen his championship résumé, including stoppage victories over Chordale Booker, Tszyu in their rematch and former unified welterweight champion Keith Thurman. PBC officially confirmed Fundora’s sixth-round stoppage of Thurman on March 28, 2026, and its current event page lists Fundora at 24-1-1 with 16 knockouts.

Standing opposite Fundora will be Hadribeaj, a 32-year-old Albanian-born contender now based in Miami who enters his first world championship opportunity without a defeat. Hadribeaj earned his mandatory position by defeating Bakary Samake in a WBC super welterweight final eliminator on May 23 in Oberhausen, Germany. The WBC confirms the bout as an official 154-pound eliminator, while the subsequent result gave Hadribeaj the mandatory position for Fundora’s championship. Hadribeaj has also built his résumé with victories over former world champion Carlos Molina and a number of previously unbeaten opponents, giving the challenger both experience and momentum heading into the biggest fight of his career.

“Camp is going great,” said Fundora. “October 17 is going to be an exciting night for boxing fans, and Sebastian ‘The Towering Inferno’ Fundora will be taking over Las Vegas once again.” Hadribeaj has promised to arrive fully prepared for his opportunity, saying, “This is what I’ve worked for my entire career, and I’m going to be prepared for the fight Fundora is going to bring. If he takes me lightly, he’s going to be in for a big surprise.” Their matchup pits a reigning world champion accustomed to fighting on the biggest stages against an undefeated mandatory challenger determined to capitalize on his first opportunity to claim a major world title.

The co-main event will feature two-division world champion and reigning WBA Featherweight World Champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (27-2-1, 20 KOs) making the first defense of his 126-pound championship against former bantamweight world champion Tomoki “El Mexicanito” Kameda (42-5, 23 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round contest. Figueroa captured the WBA featherweight title in dramatic fashion when he stopped then-champion Nick Ball in the 12th round in Liverpool on February 7, 2026. The WBA officially records the victory as Figueroa’s championship-winning stoppage of Ball, making the October 17 meeting his first defense of the belt.

Figueroa, a 29-year-old native of Weslaco, Texas, has built his reputation around an aggressive, high-volume style and punishing body attack. A former WBC super bantamweight champion, he won that title with a seventh-round stoppage of Luis Nery in 2021 before moving toward featherweight and continuing his pursuit of championship success. After a decision loss to Stephen Fulton Jr. in February 2025, Figueroa rebounded with a victory over Joet Gonzalez before producing one of the most significant wins of his career against Ball. He now faces Kameda, whose championship experience and technical ability make him a formidable first challenger to Figueroa’s newly won title.

Kameda, 35, of Osaka, Japan, enters the matchup with a 42-5 record and 23 knockouts and a résumé that includes a WBO bantamweight world championship reign beginning in 2013. He successfully defended that title three times and later challenged Jamie McDonnell twice in high-profile bantamweight championship bouts. Kameda also moved into the super bantamweight division and challenged Rey Vargas for a world title. His most recent fight was a competitive majority-decision loss to IBF featherweight champion Angelo Leo in May 2025, following a stretch in which Kameda won six of seven contests.

“I’m feeling strong, sharp and ready to defend my title,” said Figueroa. “We’ve been pushing hard in camp and making sure I’m prepared for anything. Fans know I always come to fight, so expect a show October 17 in Las Vegas.” Kameda is equally confident entering the championship opportunity, declaring, “I’m coming to take advantage of this opportunity on October 17 and leave Las Vegas world champion once again. Brandon Figueroa is a great champion, and I know that when the bell rings, we’re going to give the fans a fight they’ll remember.”

Adding further intrigue to the Las Vegas card, undefeated former two-division world champion Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs) will return to the ring against Australia’s Koen Mazoudier (16-4-1, 6 KOs) in a scheduled 10-round super middleweight attraction. Charlo, a Houston native, previously captured world championships at 154 and 160 pounds and is now pursuing a third divisional title at 168 pounds. He first became a world champion at super welterweight in 2015 with a knockout of Cornelius Bundrage and went on to make multiple successful defenses, including a stoppage of then-unbeaten Julian Williams. Charlo later established himself as a major force at middleweight, where he captured the WBC championship and recorded notable victories over Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Matt Korobov, Hugo Centeno Jr. and Jose Benavidez Jr.

Charlo’s most recent appearance came in May 2025, when he stopped Thomas LaManna in the sixth round at super middleweight. The upcoming bout with Mazoudier was previously scheduled for July but was postponed, setting the stage for Charlo’s return in Las Vegas. PBC’s current fighter listings confirm Charlo at 34-0 with 23 knockouts and identify Mazoudier as his October 17 opponent.

Mazoudier, a 30-year-old from Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia, enters the bout with a four-fight winning streak and a 16-4-1 record with six knockouts. His résumé includes a 2022 victory over Wade Ryan and a competitive 2024 encounter with unbeaten Australian standout Nikita Tszyu. Most recently, Mazoudier defeated Sam Beck by decision in August, giving him additional momentum heading into the biggest opportunity of his career. He has made it clear that he does not intend to simply play the role of opponent against the undefeated Charlo.

“I’ve been waiting on this moment, and I’m ready to get back in there and remind everybody who Jermall Charlo is,” said Charlo. “I know my fans have been waiting to see me, and I’m going to step into the ring hungry, focused and with a lot to prove.” Mazoudier has embraced the underdog role, saying, “I know I’m the underdog and I don’t care. I’m coming to take down a legend. I’m not just going there for a payday — I’m going there to win.”

With three high-profile fighters representing three distinct championship storylines, October 17 promises a compelling night of action at The Chelsea. Fundora will be tasked with protecting his WBC title against an unbeaten mandatory challenger, Figueroa will attempt to begin his WBA featherweight reign with a successful first defense against a proven former champion, and Charlo will look to reestablish himself at 168 pounds while continuing his pursuit of a third divisional championship.
