(July 21st) Newly signed BOXXER prospect James Dean Fury is preparing to launch his professional boxing career after agreeing to a long-term promotional deal with BOXXER, with the highly regarded amateur set to make his debut on Saturday, August 8 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, live and exclusively on DAZN worldwide.
The 20-year-old super middleweight becomes the latest member of Britain's famous Fury fighting family to enter the professional ranks, carrying an impressive amateur résumé that includes three national titles and a Box Cup championship. Trained by his uncle, renowned coach Peter Fury, James Dean Fury now begins the next chapter of his career under the BOXXER banner.
Fury has established himself as one of Britain's brightest young amateur talents and now sets his sights on making an immediate impact in one of boxing's most competitive divisions.

Manchester-born James Dean Fury is one of Britain's most highly regarded young boxing prospects and a member of the renowned Fury fighting family. The cousin of former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury and nephew of acclaimed trainer Peter Fury, James Dean enjoyed a decorated amateur career that included three national championships and a Box Cup title before signing a long-term promotional agreement with BOXXER in July 2026. The 20-year-old super middleweight will make his professional debut on August 8 in Leeds, launching his career on DAZN as he begins his pursuit of world championship success under the guidance of Peter Fury.
James Dean Fury's professional debut forms part of BOXXER's first event under its new broadcast partnership with DAZN, on a card headlined by the highly anticipated rematch between Troy Williamson and Callum Simpson at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on August 8th.
