MF Pro Makes Successful U.S. Debut

With "Pugilist Revolution" Ashton Sylve Unanimous Decision Victory Over JoJo Diaz In Long Beach!

By: Edwin Gonzalez

(June 20th) MF Pro, the professional boxing division of Misfits Boxing, made a successful U.S. debut with its inaugural event, “Pugilist Revolution,” on last night, at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California. Streaming worldwide on DAZN, the card featured a mix of rising prospects, unbeaten contenders, seasoned veterans, and championship-level bouts, delivering an action-packed night for a strong Southern California crowd.

In the ten-round super lightweight main event Long Beach native Ashton “H2O” Sylve fighting in front of his hometown fans, used his speed, movement, and combination punching to control the early and middle rounds, consistently beating former IBF junior lightweight world champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz to the punch and building a clear lead on the scorecards.

Diaz, relying on his experience and toughness, mounted a late rally and pressed forward in the championship rounds, landing several meaningful shots as Sylve’s output dipped. Despite the surge, Sylve’s early dominance proved decisive, earning him a unanimous decision victory with scores of 98-92, 97-93, and 97-93.

The co-main event featured an undefeated clash for the WBC US Silver Middleweight Championship between Amir “Cashman” Anderson and Jonas Sylvain. Anderson imposed his athleticism and ring generalship from the opening bell, controlling distance and tempo throughout all ten rounds. He delivered a shutout performance on the scorecards, sweeping them 100-90 across the board to capture his first professional title and remain unbeaten at 8-0.

One of the most explosive performances of the night came in the super lightweight division, where Ernesto “Tito” Mercado improved to 19-0 with a second-round (2:40) knockout of veteran Juan Carlos Burgos. Mercado, already known for his finishing power, broke Burgos down methodically before closing the fight emphatically, continuing his rise as one of the division’s most dangerous young contenders.

At lightweight, Devin Cushing delivered the upset of the night by handing previously unbeaten J’Hon “Pretty Boy” Ingram his first professional defeat. Over ten competitive rounds, Cushing’s composure and tactical discipline proved the difference, as he consistently neutralized Ingram’s offense to secure a unanimous decision victory by identical 97-93 scorecards.

Welterweight prospect David “Dynamite” Lopez kept his perfect momentum intact with a first-round stoppage of Joey Borrero. Lopez wasted no time asserting himself, earning a technical knockout at 1:41 and further establishing his reputation as one of MF Pro’s most promising young fighters.

The night opened with a successful professional debut from highly regarded amateur standout Kayla “The Truth” Gomez. The former Team USA standout and Junior Pan American Games gold medalist transitioned smoothly to the pro ranks, displaying poise and technical sharpness in a unanimous decision win over Shayntain Creer. All three judges scored the six-round super flyweight bout 40-36 in Gomez’s favor, marking a strong start to her professional career.

By the end of the evening, MF Pro had successfully introduced its professional boxing platform to the United States with a well-matched, competitive card that showcased rising talent and delivered meaningful results across multiple divisions. From Sylve’s hometown main-event win to Gomez’s debut and Anderson’s title victory, “Pugilist Revolution” set a strong foundation for the promotion’s continued expansion in the American market.

MF Pro is a professional boxing promotion founded in 2024 under the umbrella of Misfits Boxing and its parent company, MF Sports, by internetboxing star KSI, longtime music and boxing manager Mams Taylor, and veteran European promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland. The company was formally launched as a standalone proboxing arm in 2026, positioned as a sister outfit to the crossoverfocused Misfits Boxing brand.

MF Pro is cofounded by KSI, the English YouTuber and crossover boxer who cofounded Misfits Boxing with Mams Taylor and the Sauerland brothers in 2022. Mams Taylor serves as a key executive and boxing promoter within the MF Sports family, bringing his experience managing KSI and building Misfits’ entertainmentdriven product. The Sauerland brothers—Kalle and Nisse, scions of a famous European boxingpromotional dynasty—oversee the technical, matchmaking, and broadcast side of the operation from the MF Sports group, which owns MF Pro.

MF Pro handles the traditional, sanctioned side of the business, signing and promoting established and rising professionals such as Derek Chisora, Josh Kelly, Harlem Eubank, Michael Conlan, and British cruiserweight champion Viddal Riley. The promotion operates under longterm broadcast deals with DAZN, giving it a fixed platform for building series and crossdivision matchups while tightly linking its proboxers to the broader crossoveraudience engine of Misfits Boxing.

The company’s stated aim is to blend traditional boxing pedigree with modern media and influencerdriven exposure, using KSI’s global reach and the Sauerland brothers’ promotional infrastructure to create highprofile nights of boxing. By positioning MF Pro as a sister brand to Misfits, the founders seek to channel crossover fans into the professionalboxing ecosystem, while giving established pros new digital and mainstream visibility on global streaming platforms.
