(April 22nd) Three Lions Promotions will present “The Homecoming” on May 30 at Royal King Palace in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, with Canadian lightweight prospect Eric Basran set to headline the card in front of a home crowd. Basran will face Chilean Lightweight Champion, Sebastian “Cerberus” Caucaman in a 10-round main event for the vacant WBC International Silver Lightweight title.

Basran, who fights out of Surrey, British Columbia, has emerged as one of Canada’s most promising young contenders. He brings a professional record of 8-1, 3 KOs into the bout and returns home with added international experience after competing in last year’s WBC Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, where he advanced through the opening round before taking his first professional loss in tournament action.

“This will be the biggest fight of my life,” Basran said. “I learned so much in Saudi Arabia, and I will be showcasing my improved skills to the people who mean the most to me — my family and friends. I’m excited to be headlining at home and fighting for the WBC belt. Surrey gets to see the best of Eric Basran, one they’ve never seen before. I’m ready to make a major statement.”

The May 30 card will feature a strong supporting lineup of Canadian talent. Former CPBC Canadian amateur champion Buneet “Surrey’s Lion” Bisla is scheduled for an 8-round bout against an opponent to be announced. In a special super middleweight attraction, reigning Canadian Champion John-Michael “J-Money” Bianco will meet undefeated Surrey fighter Harkirat Nijjar, a 2020 BC Provincial Champion, in an 8-round non-title contest.

The undercard also includes Vancouver flyweight Nyousha “Superfly” Nakhjiri, the 2025 Canadian Elite National Champion; Hamilton bantamweight Meilyn Sanchez Martinez; and Toronto welterweight Vadym Klym.

“This card reflects the strength and depth of Canadian boxing right now,” said Three Lions Promotions managing director Daniel Otter. “We’re bringing together fighters at different stages of their careers who are looking to take meaningful steps forward.”
