Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov

Undercard Announced!

(March 2nd) Netflix’s first boxing event of 2026 now has its full undercard in place, as a 10-fight lineup has been confirmed for Saturday, April 11, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London.

Headlining the event, former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) faces hard-hitting Russian contender Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round main event promoted by The Ring.

Set directly beneath that heavyweight clash is a high-stakes co-main event between Conor Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) and former WBC junior welterweight titlist Regis Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs). The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds at a 150-pound catchweight.

The April 11 event marks a new chapter for Benn, who recently aligned with Zuffa Boxing following his departure from Matchroom Boxing. The move represents one of the most notable promotional shifts in recent British boxing circles and places Benn on a major global streaming platform for his first outing under the new banner.

Benn, 29, returns to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a venue that has previously hosted some of the biggest nights in British boxing. Fighting again in front of a home crowd provides added narrative weight to the occasion as he continues his rebuild at the world level.

Across the ring, Prograis brings championship pedigree and international experience. The 37-year-old southpaw previously fought in the United Kingdom in 2019, dropping a competitive decision to Josh Taylor in a 140-pound unification bout. That contest marked one of the defining fights of the division during that era.

Now competing above his former championship weight, Prograis steps into the co-main event with the opportunity to disrupt Benn’s momentum and reassert himself in another marquee setting.

The card will stream live on Netflix, with preliminary bouts airing via Tudum and The Ring’s digital platforms. The event represents an ongoing push to position premium boxing cards within mainstream streaming spaces, combining established names with cross-promotional backing.

With a heavyweight main event featuring Fury and Makhmudov and a compelling stylistic clash between Benn and Prograis in the co-feature, April 11 shapes up as one of the early headline boxing nights of 2026.

Isle of Man, heavyweight legend, Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury will end his retirement to face Russian knockout artist Arslanbek "The Lion" Makhmudov on April 11, 2026, in the United Kingdom, marking his return to boxing after a 16-month absence.

The bout, promoted by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh alongside Sela and The Ring, will stream live globally on Netflix at no additional cost to subscribers, marking the platform's first live boxing broadcast from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Tottenham, North London.

Fury, announced his retirement in January 2025 following consecutive losses to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. The two fought in May 2024, where Usyk claimed victory, then met again in December 2024 with the same result—the only defeats in Fury's professional career.

The April fight will mark Fury's first appearance in a British ring since December 2022, when he defeated Derek Chisora by technical knockout—more than three years between home fights for "The Gypsy King."

The 6-foot-9, 37-year-old, Fury, 34-2-1, 24Ko’s former two-time heavyweight world champion, having held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and WBC titles during his career. His last victory came against Francis Ngannou in 2023.

The 6-foot-6, 36-year-old, Montreal, Quebec, Canada based Russian, Makhmudov, 21-2, 19Ko’s most recently defeated British boxer Dave Allen by unanimous decision in October 2025. However, Makhmudov has suffered stoppage losses to Guido Vianello and Agit Kabayel in higher-level competition.

The fight represents a critical juncture for both fighters. For Fury, it's an opportunity to rebuild his path toward title contention after the disappointment of his losses to Usyk. For Makhmudov, facing a former champion of Fury's stature offers a chance to elevate his profile in the heavyweight division and prove he belongs among the elite.

Zuffa Boxing newly signed Conor “The Destroyer” Benn will make his Zuffa debut against Houston, Texas based former WBA and WBC champion, Regis “Rougarou” Prograis in the co-main event of the Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov card to stream live on Netflix, April 11th, from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Splitting 2025, back-to-back unanimous decision points bouts versus rival Chris Eubank Jr., Benn, 24-1, 14Ko’s, the 29-year-old, son of former WBO Middleweight, WBC Super Middleweight Champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer, Nigel Benn will have his first bout under a reported $15 million one-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing after leaving Eddie Hearn's Matchroom.

The 37-year-old, New Orleans born, southpaw, Prograis, 30-3, 24Ko’s separating himself from 2023 - 2024 twelve round points losses to Devin Haney and Jack Catterall comes in off an August 2025 ten round unanimous decision win over 2012 Olympian, Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz.

(February 17th) Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov press conference live from London, United Kingdom.

Fury declared his comeback purpose: "I came back for one reason only, and that's to make boxing great again. Since I retired for the fifth time over a year ago, boxing for me has gone on a downward slope... it's become quite boring and boxing is at its maximum potential when Tyson Fury's actively fighting." He predicted victory: "Probably a big right hand KO. Nice and easy... Round six." On motivation, he cited tragedy: "The biggest turning point in this comeback for me was the tragedy that happened with Anthony Joshua... Life is very, very short and very precious... Tomorrow ain't promised."

Makhmudov called it a milestone: "I was very happy when I hear this news... for me it's dream fight... all my life I go for my goal... my parents told me... when I was 9 years old... you're going to be champion world." Reflecting on a past photo with Fury: "When we took a picture almost [10 years] ago, it was like signal from God... One day I going to be meet with this guy and beat him."

Makhmudov's camp (Antonin Decarie): "Tyson Fury is an icon... we are here to assert ourselves... Our goal is to astonish the world." The event stayed amiable, contrasting Fury's past standoffs.

The bout is part of a series of high-profile boxing events backed by Alalshikh and Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, continuing their significant investment in the sport. With both fighters possessing considerable power and size—each weighing over 260 pounds in recent bouts—the April 11 clash promises to be a compelling heavyweight showdown.

Turki Alalshikh, is a prominent Saudi Arabian figure in sports and entertainment, serving as the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and a key advisor to the Saudi royal court. He has become one of the most influential boxing promoters globally since around 2019, spearheading Saudi Arabia's investments in major combat sports events through initiatives like Riyadh Season. Alalshikh is known for organizing high-profile, big-budget fights often held in Saudi Arabia, featuring stars like Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, and others, which have drawn massive global audiences and significant pay-per-view revenue.

Partnership with Sela

Sela, is a Saudi-based sports and entertainment company, fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), specializing in event management, venue development, and experiential activations. In March 2025, Alalshikh partnered with TKO Group Holdings (the parent company of UFC and WWE) and Sela to launch a new, unnamed boxing promotion aimed at disrupting the sport's traditional model. This multi-year venture, led by figures like UFC CEO Dana White, WWE President Nick Khan, and Sela's CEO Dr. Rakan Alharthy, focuses on providing platforms for top boxers and prospects, with events debuting later in 2025. Sela has been directly involved in promoting Riyadh Season cards, including the September 2025 "Fight of the Century" between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford for the undisputed super middleweight title, streamed on Netflix as part of a strategic partnership. This collaboration has positioned Sela as a co-promoter for major bouts, enhancing Saudi Arabia's role in global boxing.

The Ring, often called "The Bible of Boxing," is a historic magazine founded in 1922 that provides rankings, analysis, and awards prestigious championship belts. Alalshikh's promotions frequently involve The Ring's titles, adding legitimacy to events. In 2025, The Ring announced a partnership with TKO and Sela, aligning with Alalshikh's new promotion to combine resources for coverage, events, and fighter development. For instance, the Alvarez-Crawford fight was contested for The Ring's super middleweight belt. Recent events like the January 2026 Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson bout at Madison Square Garden have been branded as "The Ring 6," indicating ongoing ties. Additionally, organizations like the WBC have praised the collaboration between Alalshikh, Sela, and The Ring in events such as the Boxing Grand Prix semifinals.
