Zuffa Boxing Reschedules Valentine’s Day Event
Featuring Its First-Ever Heavyweight Headliner
To Sunday Night, February 15th!
(February 3rd) Originally targeted for “Valentine's Day” Saturday, February 14 Zuffa Boxing has confirmed the move of it’s first heavyweight headlined card to Sunday, February 15th, to align with their first quarter slated, Sunday-night residency at the Meta Apex.
Heavyweights, Efe Ajagba and Charles Martin will square off in a 10-round main event at Zuffa Boxing 3. The event will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, live from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
Building on the momentum of the promotion’s successful January launch, Zuffa Boxing 3 marks the first time the heavyweight division takes center stage under the Zuffa banner. In a shift from traditional Saturday night broadcasts, the event will air exclusively on Paramount+ on Sunday evening, continuing Dana White’s residency-style schedule at the Meta Apex.
"The heavyweight division is the crown jewel of combat sports, and for our third event, we wanted a fight that matters," said Dana White, UFC President and CEO. "Ajagba and Martin are both at a crossroads. One is a massive puncher looking to prove he’s championship material, and the other is a former world champ who knows this is his last run. This is exactly the kind of competitive, high-stakes matchmaking Zuffa Boxing is bringing to the sport."
The 31 year old, 6’6”, Stafford, Texas based Nigerian, Efe Ajagba, 20-1-1, 14Ko’s, enters the ring seeking to solidify his status as a top-10 contender. Known for his devastating power, the 2016 Olympian riding a 5-0-1 streak since his 2021 unanimous decision loss to Frank Sanchez is coming off a hard-fought majority draw against Martin Bakole. Now a free agent under the Zuffa banner, Ajagba aims to secure a path toward a world title eliminator.
The 39 year old, Arizona based, 6’5”, former IBF Heavyweight World Champion, Charles “Prince” Martin, 30-4-1, 27Ko’s, a remains one of the most dangerous southpaws in the division. The St. Louis native captured the vacant IBF heavyweight title in January 2016 via third-round KO of Vyacheslav Glazkov but lost it in two rounds to Anthony Joshua in April 2016. Since then, he's gone 7-4-1 (with losses to Adam Kownacki, Luis Ortiz, and Jared Anderson) and notched a first-round KO over Matthew McKinney in November 2024. Martin returns to Las Vegas looking to derail the rising Nigerian star and prove he still belongs at the top of the mountain.
