Tshikeva Upsets Clarke

For Vacant BBBofC British Title!

Saturday, November 29th, Vaillant Live, Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom: Headlining a Benjamin Shalom – Boxxer’s “Champions Are Made” event Tottenham, London, heavyweight, Jeamie “TKV” Tshikeva claimed the vacant BBBofC British title with a grueling twelve round split decision win over Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK, 2020 Olympic Bronze Medalist, Frazer “The Eraser” Clarke.

 

The rescheduled, pre-fight trash talk tension-built match with Clarke mixing technical skill, power and experience dominated early catching Tshikeva big uppercuts and heavy right hands.

 

Tshikeva finding a niche inside, deducted one point in the third round for low blows would appear to settled in landing punishing tight left hooks and clean right hands to claw back some momentum in the middle rounds where Clarke's holding increased as his energy appeared to fade.

 

The action peaked in the tenth and the eleventh rounds with Tshikeva unleashing a fierce onslaught leaving Clarke visibly fatigued on unsteady pegs only to see “The Eraser” to battle back with uppercuts and hooks of his own to keep it competitive only to find himself on the short side of the 115-112 Clarke, 115-113, 115-112 judges scored Tshikeva vacant BBBofC British title twelve round split decision win. At 32 Tshikeva entering off an April 2025 sixth round TKO loss to David Adeleye moves to 9-2, 5Ko’s. Clarke at 34 years of age 1-2 in his last three bouts drops to 9-2-1, 7Ko’s.

 

In the co-feature, Sevenoaks, Kent, UK’s, 21-year-old, rising prospect Francesca "Billion Dollar Baby" Hennessy captured the vacant WBC International Bantamweight title with a dominant shutout ten round unanimous decision win over Lezhe, Albania based Czech, Fabiana Bytyqi.

 

Hennessy controlling her first scheduled ten-round contest from the opening bell with her superior speed, clever footwork and a high-volume attack dominating the former WBC Atomweight World Champion throughout for a dominant ten round 100-90 times three unanimous decision win. Hennessy improves to 7-0, 1KO as Bytyqi the first boxer from the Czech Republic to win a major world title falls 2-3 in her last five bouts falls to 22-3-2, 5Ko’s.

 

In a battle of unbeaten welterweights Dagenham, Essex, Joel “JFK” Kodua dethroned previously unbeaten BBBofC English Champion, Bobby Dalton by way of a ten round unanimous decision win.

 

The fight quickly turned into a high-octane war with the slicker former Southern Area champion, Kodua’s accurate and rapid combinations opening a cut under Dalton’s right eye wore down the champion with some solid body work. Following a lengthy inspection of the by the ringside doctor before round seven Dalton showed his champion pedigree turning up the pace only to be out boxed by the speedy challenger to a 98-92, 97-93, 97-94 ten round unanimous Kodua win. Kodua’s two both KO run ends with a second title at 10-0, 2Ko’s as Dalton with his first defeat slips to 11-1, 2Ko’s.
