(January 22nd) Big time boxing returns to Sydney, when former Clearwater, Florida, former unified welterweight world champion Keith "One Time" Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs) faces Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia's rising star Brock Jarvis (22-1, 20 KOs) at the Hordern Pavilion on March 12th.
Thurman, who has headlined cards in Nevada, New York, Texas, Florida and California, competes outside of America for the first time, in a clash that has major implications at world level in the talent-stacked super welterweight division.
The charismatic 36-year-old was slated to face Tim Tszyu for the WBO world super welterweight title last March in Las Vegas, but suffered a bicep injury in training camp.

Thurman, 30-1, 22Ko's with notable victories over Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter rebounded from his sole defeat, a split decision loss to Manny Pacquio July 2019 with a twelve round unanimous decision win over once defeated Mario Barrios in his last bout February 2022.
Holding a 90% knockout ratio the 27 year old, Jarvis, 21-1, 20Ko's known for his aggressive style suffering his only loss a first round knockout to Liam Paro in October 2022 bounding with consecutive 2023-24 stoppage victories over Marlon Paniamogan and Adrian Rodriguez.
