(February 5th) George Kambosos, Skye Nicolson and Cherneka Johnson have confirmed opponents for their Lou DiBella - DiBella Entertainment, Eddie Hearn - Matchroom Boxing bill to be streamed live on DAZN, March 22nd from Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, Australia.
The 31-year-old, former IBF/WBO/WBA Lightweight Champion, Kambosos, 21-3, 10Ko’s be debuting at super lightweight, making his maiden appearance under the Matchroom Boxing banner and fighting his hometown for the first time in nearly a decade will take on Sukadana, Indonesia, former world title challenger, Daud “The Boxing Senator” Yordan.
At 37 years old, Yordan, 43-4,31Ko’s on a inside the distance five bout stoppage victory run since a 2018 twelve round points loss to Anthony Crolla, most recently coming off a vacant IBA World Super Lightweight title claiming ninth round TKO stoppage of once beaten Argentine, Hernan “El Zurdo” Carrizo, September 2024.
Also in action, two female “Aussie All Stars” will defend their world titles on the card.
Yatala, Queensland, Australia’s, Skye Nicolson will make the third defense of her WBC Featherweight title when she squares off against Lehigh Acres, Florida’s, unbeaten, Tiara “The Dark Menace” Brown.
The 29-year-old, 2020 Olympian, Nicolson, 12-0, 1Ko claiming the vacant WBC Silver Featherweight title out pointing Barcelona, Spain’s then unbeaten Tania Alvarez, February 2023, adding the WBC Interim World Featherweight strap to her collection with a unanimous decision win over Argentina’s once beaten Sabrina Maribel capturing the full WBC World Featherweight title with a one-sided points win over Copenhagen, Denmark’s once beaten, Sarah Mahfoud, April 2014. Banking back-to-back title defenses, starting with a shutout points win over Dominican Republics, Dyana “La Maquina” Vargas, July 2024 enters off a convincing unanimous decision title retaining win over High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK’s the unbeaten Raven “The Omen” Chapman this past October.
The 36-year-old, Brown, 18-0, 11Ko’s making her first title challenge kicked off 2025 shutting out Columbian veteran, Calista “Cali” Silgado over eight rounds in the co-main event of a Kali Reis promoted “Elite Fight Night” card January 18th, at 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Also seeing action will be Melbourne, Victoria, Australia’s, Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson will put her WBA Bantamweight strap on the line when she takes on Billericay, Essex, UK’s, Nina Hughes.
The 29-year-old, former IBF World Super Bantamweight champion, Johnson, 16-2, 6Ko’s with her two defeats coming by way of a March 2021 split decision loss to Shannon O'Connell and a June 2023 IBF Bantamweight title loss to London’s still unbeaten Ellie Scotney in an immediate rematch will hit the replay button Hughes in response to her majority decision win last May.
The 42-year-old, Hughes, 6-1, 2Ko’s, unbeaten going into the first Johnson bout with her biggest wins coming versus two unbeatens, 8-0-2, Jamie Mitchell November 2022 and 6-0, Katie Healy, June 2023.
Also in action, are three unbeaten, “Aussie Stars” starting with Brisbane, Queensland, heavyweight prospect Teremoana Junior, 6-0, 6Ko’s, Sydney, New South Wales, light heavyweight, Imam Khataev, 9-0, 9Ko’s and Sydney, lightweight, Jayden “Bullett” Buan, 3-0, 2Ko’s all facing opponents yet to be named.

Stepping up in weight, and IBF Light Welterweight Champion, Richardson Hitchins name in the wind, the 31-year-old, Kambosos, 21-3, 10Ko’s making his way back to the ring for the first time since a failed IBF/IBO World Lightweight title challenge of Vasyl Lomachenko in May 12th, 2024 returns To Sydney for his 140lb debut on March 22nd.
