(June 4th) Houston, Texas, O'Shaquie “Ice Water” Foster and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Stephen Fulton have officially agreed to terms for a WBC Junior Lightweight title fight, which is expected to take place on August 16th as part of the undercard for the highly anticipated Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach 2 event in Las Vegas.
This matchup will see Foster, 23-3, 12Ko’s the reigning WBC champion at 130 pounds, defending his title against the former WBC / WBO World Super Bantamweight and WBC Featherweight Champion Fulton, 23-1, 8Ko’s who is moving up from featherweight in pursuit of becoming a three-division world champion.
Foster, who reclaimed his title in November by outpointing Robson Conceicao in a rematch, has established himself as a top contender in the division with notable wins and only one recent defeat to Conceicao.
