June 14th: One Month To Go Until Star Boxing

Hits The Westchester County Center...!

(May 15th) The stage is set, and the countdown is on. With just one month to go, Star Boxing is gearing up for a thrilling return to the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Tickets are officially on sale, and fans are lining up for what promises to be a throwback night of all-action fights and rising stars.

One bout generating interest is a can’t-miss Jr. Featherweight main event featuring the ultra-slick Rajon “Picasso” Chance (East Orange, NJ) taking on the unbeaten powerhouse from the Dominican Republic, Yan Carlos “El Baka” Perez. It’s brains vs. brawn, finesse vs. ferocity, a true stylistic contrast that has all the makings of a fight-of-the-year candidate.

“This one’s special,” said Joe DeGuardia, President of Star Boxing. “You’ve got two hungry fighters with something to prove—Rajon, the technician, and El Baka, the pressure machine. This is a real 50/50 fight that will enable fans to see how styles help define the art of boxing.”

The night’s intensity ramps up further with a traditional gritty New York 'old-school' match between Yonkers’ undefeated knockout threat Harley Burke and Lou Maietta, the Bronx-based firefighter who never backs down. Burke brings thunder in both hands, while Maietta brings heart, toughness, and a no-nonsense approach to the ring. This Irish-Italian showdown is more than a fight—it’s a battle of wills.

“They don’t make fights like this anymore,” DeGuardia added. “Two working-class guys, proud of their roots, coming to put it all on the line in their backyards. You’ll feel the energy fight night.”

Also stepping into the ring in front of the White Plains crowd is local favorite Austin Cassese (Shrub Oak, NY), a former Lakeland High School athlete and Marist College grad now making waves in the pros. Fighting in Westchester, his home county, the All-American Cassese looks to continue his unbeaten streak with a statement performance.

Adding firepower to the undercard is fast-rising knockout artist “King” David Malul, who has impressed in each of his first three pro-outings under the Star Boxing banner. Fans have quickly taken notice, and Malul aims to deliver another emphatic victory.

The action doesn’t stop there—Ronny Reyes, another hometown talent, joins the lineup, along with Mexican standout Eric “El Cañete” Perez. Additional bouts and undercard attractions will be revealed soon.

June 14th is shaping up to be a throwback night to remember—full of heavy hands, local pride, and non-stop action. Be part of the atmosphere at the Westchester County Center and witness the next chapter in Star Boxing’s tradition of unforgettable events.
